Frequently Asked Questions

I see you are based in the UK. Do you deliver overseas?

Yes, we are able to deliver worldwide. You can either order online using the "add to cart" buttons, or contact us with your requirements and we will let you know about delivery options and costs.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes: we are able to take secure payments by credit card via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card.

When you say the posters are laminated, what does that mean?

The front face of each poster is covered with a wipe-clean laminated film. This is not what many teachers understand by lamination – heat-sealing the poster between layers of heavy film – which is correctly called encapsulation. As well as providing protection, the lamination that we use actually enhances the appearance of the posters.

How do I obtain ClubMaths™?

Please go to our ClubMaths™ page, where we explain the process. You can order online from there too.

How long do ClubMaths™ activities take to do?

A lot depends on the age and ability of the pupils. Most users find that there is enough material in the activities themselves to last for two sessions, sometimes more./ppIn addition we aim to choose topics that are rich in possibilities and include ideas and suggestions for follow-up activities in the Teacher's Notes, so that more can be gained from each issue.

What ages and abilities are ClubMaths™ activities suitable for?

The activities are designed to be suitable for pupils aged 11 to 14, but teachers also use them in the mathematics classroom with other age groups, as maths enrichment or extension materials.

Many of the tasks are investigative in nature so that ClubMaths™ activities work well with pupils of varying abilities. Some of the tasks involve ideas of proof and all are a valuable resource for those learning the art of problem solving.

In each issue the tasks are graded in difficulty, which helps to ensure that there is something accessible to all.

We are always pleased to receive feedback from our customers. If there is a topic area which you think we should cover do let us know. However, if you send us detailed ideas we may not be able to use them for copyright reasons.

“I’ve used a few of the monthly activities within my lessons – generally high ability sets.

However, I used the Octagrams activity with middle and lowish sets with great effects.

I’ve also used Octagrams and the Trapezium activities with Year 7 to Year 11 – again the activity was easily adapted to each group. ”
